Fri, 07/23/2010 - 07:34
The Whedonverse is having a very good day. Not only is one of my favorite Buffy stars, Emma Caulfield, joining the cast of the great CW drama Life Unexpected, but James Marsters revealed at Comic-Con that he'll be returning to Smallville for the 200th episode.

Another Hot Vampire on TV: Sam Witwer Joins 'Being Human' Remake

Mon, 06/28/2010 - 09:17
I thought the hot vampire quota had been filled for the millennium between Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder on The Vampire Diaries, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard on True Blood, as well as part favorites like David Boreanaz and James Marsters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Alex O'Loughlin in Moonlight. But I guess that wasn't enough.

'Gossip Girl,' 'Secret Life,' 'Jersey Shore' Rule Teen Choice Award Nominations

Mon, 06/14/2010 - 03:08
If the children are our future, then we're screwed.  Today this year's Teen Choice Award nominees were announced, and as always, the list features some truly absurd nominees.

On the television side, Gossip Girl leads the nominees for a TV Drama despite having a subpar season and coming in as one of the CW's lowest-rated shows.  Meanwhile, a great new show like The Vampire Diaries was stuck in categories for Fantasy/Sci Fi shows, which is arguably the most interesting category since it also features Fringe, True Blood, Lost and Supernatural.

'Smallville' Season 10 Preview

Tue, 06/01/2010 - 06:10
In September Smallville returns for season 10, its last.  The adventures of Clark Kent will definitely be coming to an end, which means anything can happen.

Well, not anything.  This is the Superman story, so I'm guessing that Lois Lane isn't about to get killed off in episode 3.

'Smallville' Roundup: What Else Does Tom Welling Hope for in Season 10?

Some of these die-hards might even agree with what Tom Welling wants. That is, to have old buddies Lex Luthor and Lana Lang back on the show.

We begin with an image of flight: a helicopter is our welcome wagon to the sight of reds and blues blurring over the Daily Planet globe. But our screams of glee have been cut short though, since this is only a dream (or a vision?) of Clark's after all.

Check Out What's to Come on "Salvation"

Nothing to worry about though. "Salvation" has all that, plus more scenes that we cannot even begin to describe because they haven't aired yet. That doesn't keep us from getting excited though.
