As much as Clark and Chloe like her "scathing editorials," the school board doesn't approve of the Wall nor of Chloe's articles about the meteorites. Chloe defends her right to print the truth for the citizens of the town, and Kwan says the job is to write about school activities. Principle Kwan takes the paper away from her, and in a bizarre twist as well as a Lana is still Silver Age Lana conformation, gives it to Lana.
Lana wants Chloe to "ghost write, just for a few weeks" until control of the paper can be transferred back over to the true editor. Clark says it's a good idea. Chloe wants no part of it and leaves; she tells Lana that worst part was she though Lana was her friend.
