1.11 - Hug

Chloe joins Clark and Lana horseback riding; evidently she's interested in the woods where people have had memory loss incidents for the past ten years. Clark points out there have been stories there since the 1800's - Chloe is talking about Rickman employees running out of the woods screaming. Clark says that he's "sure [she] has a theory" about it. When Lana screams, Clark takes off behind Chloe's back; she notices that he's suddenly out of sight.

When Kyle Tippet is wanted by the Smallville police, Chloe, Clark, and Pete run down theories. Clark specifically asks Chloe to "do some digging" and she says she will; Chloe thinks it's an "interesting story." After "spending the morning delving into the exotic world of agriculture equipment" Chloe discovered that Kyle and Rickman were partners up until the early 90's.
