3.16 - Crisis

4.02, Gone

Clark spends most of the episode poking around for clues to what happened to Chloe, where she went; her cousin doesn't believe him at first.  Clark ends up crashing a helicopter that prevents him and her cousin from snooping around as much as he would like.  His parents find out after they catch her cousin hanging out in the bathroom with him despite his complaints, his warning that his parents won't like it, and her own promise to keep her mouth shut.

3.22, Covenant

Lionel is meeting with his paid-off agent, Loeder who claims "I can't control some bleach-blond Pulitzer wannabe from dredging up evidence for a decades-old homicide." Meanwhile,Chloe's working in the Torch; Jonathan visits her with the tea cup that Kara used.  Jonathan asks her to run the prints as a personal favor; Chloe backs off her third degree and agrees, telling him it might take a little time.

She meets with Lex later that night; Lex reveals to her that his dad is sick and dying and she gives Lex an out to stop with the legal process.  Lex says he's not giving up; his father is a dying man with little to loose. However, he wants her to have all the facts of what's going on before she commits; she assures him that she's "not backing down."

I can't control some bleach blond Pulitzer wannabe from dredging up evidence for a decades-old homicide!

Chloe is at the Metropolis courthouse waiting for Clark to show up - in a pretty black suit.  She talks with Lex, questioning why Clark wouldn't show up at all - and notices Clark (in his standard 'Superman' SV outfit) through the crowd. Clark breezes past Lex and her; she takes off after him leaving Lex alone.

3.16, Crisis

Chloe and Lana are studying when Clark ends up getting a phone call at the Teen Crisis Center from Lana in danger - from the future.  While the sheriff thinks it's a prank but Chloe, Lana, and Clark investigate it at the Torch.  Chloe cleans up the audio somewhat, noting storm in the background, Adam screaming that Lana lied to him, and Clark helps her pick out a game of the Vipers that hasn't been played

Later that day, Chloe's contacted her source at the phone company who traced a call to a woman who works at the hospital whom none of them know.   Clark points out that they have the advantage of knowing at least some of what is going to happen; he says they should get Lana out to the farm away from Adam.  Chloe follows to the farm waiting for Clark to try to find the cellphone but Clark misses Adam.  She decides to go to the Torch to see if she can hear anything on the police scanner; Jonathan lets her borrow the truck because he doesn't want her car getting stranded in the rain.  Meanwhile, Clark is waylaid after meeting up with Lex by Metropolis PD and later the FBI Lex makes a deal with.
